University of Navarra | The Technion

Study Abroad at the University of Navarra
University of Navarra, San Sebastian, Spain
Industrial Engineering undergraduate students can participate in the Study Abroad program at the University of Navarra. This program is available during the Spring Semester with classes typically beginning mid-February and ending in June. Approximately 20 students have participated in this program and found it to be a valuable experience.
Prerequisites & Language Requirements
Students considering studying at the University of Navarra must be IE students of at least junior status. Due to the selection of courses available to students, senior class standing is preferred.
Currently classes are taught in Spanish; therefore, some degree of fluency in Spanish is required. Spanish does not need to be student's native language. During the next school year, there are plans for some courses to be offered in English.
Tuition, Housing, and Other Costs
Students pay Penn State tuition while studying at the University of Navarra. Additionally, students are responsible for transportation costs to and from Spain as well as living expenses.

Students can take elective courses in Middle East History and Culture, the Holocaust, the Jewish/Arab Conflict, and the Archaeology of the Region.
Two study abroad time periods are offered, a one-semester and a two-semester program. The one-semester program runs from February through July, and the two-semester from September through July.
Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarships are available for both graduate and undergraduate students.
