Corporate Sponsored Projects Program

Program Description

The Corporate Sponsored Projects Program (IE 480) is an industry-university partnership serving to integrate design, manufacturing, service engineering and business realities into the engineering curriculum. Interdisciplinary teams of students tackle problems/projects sponsored by industrial clients. This program challenges students to apply the knowledge and tools acquired during their undergraduate education to the solution of real engineering problems. The program provides a unique opportunity for industry to partner with Penn State to help educate the next generation of "World Class Engineers". Students have at their disposal a distinguished group of faculty and state-of-the-art facilities for design, prototyping and production.
