Electronics Assembly Laboratory

The Electronics Assembly Laboratory provides graduate and undergraduate students with equipment and instrumentation for instruction in Circuit Board Manufacturing. The lab is well equipped for transferring classroom concepts and principles into practical experiences. In the lab students perform processes that are identical to those used in industrial printed circuit board (PCB) assembly.

This lab contains several bench soldering stations for beginning instruction and sophisticated instrumentation for higher level instructional activities. Experiments in the lab expose students to thru-hole and surface mount technologies of circuit board manufacturing.
