Center for Manufacturing Enterprise Integration (CMEI)
The Center for Manufacturing Enterprise Integration (CMEI), located in 359 Leonhard Building, addresses the enterprise R&D needs of the next generation. CMEI focuses on integrating operational decision-making and control of geographically distributed enterprises. This is accomplished using open information and control systems at various levels ranging from sensors to supplier (S2S).
The Center pursues the following three areas of interest:
- e-Manufacturing Across Enterprises
- Distributed Production Control
- Distributed Process Control
