Undergrads prevail at 2nd annual broomball game
Congratulations to the undergrads for their win at the 2nd annual IE broomball game for the American Cancer Society.
Although the graduate students and faculty were determined to get revenge for last year's game, the undergrads wouldn't be denied their second straight win. The undergrads raced out to a 3-1 lead about halfway through the game. With about 20 minutes to go, the graduate students and faculty tied the game at 3. However, the undergrads eventually wore down their opponent and scored 5 unanswered goals. The final score was undergrads, 8, graduate students and faculty, 3.
