Visiting Scholar Spotlight - Dr. Meiping Wu
Meiping Wu, Ph.D., has been visiting in the Penn State IE department since June 2008. Dr. Wu is an associate professor at Jiangnan University, located in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China. Dr. Wu will be departing Penn State at the end of May.
While visiting Penn State, Dr. Wu has collaborated with Dr. Vittal Prabhu on two papers, including one for an international conference, titled Assembly modeling approach based on engineering semantics. Dr. Wu is also working on research in computer-aided assembly design while visiting Penn State.
Dr. Wu has also been able to enjoy free time in State College by getting involved in sports, including badminton, basketball, tennis, and swimming.
Dr. Wu received a B.S. at Tianjin University of Technology and Education, and M.S. and Ph.D. from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Nanjing, China.
