| The first two years of undergraduate
engineering at Penn State are comprised of a standard curricula
of the fundamental engineering courses, such as math, physics,
and the arts, humanities and social sciences. After introductory
courses in the areas of manufacturing, operations research,
and human factors, students will choose one of three specialization
tracks: Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Service Systems,
or Engineering Information Systems. Many of the courses have
a laboratory component, giving students the hands-on experience
they need to relate theory to the real world.
It is important for students to review the Undergraduate
Curriculum Plan.
